The B2B ads that keep running on Facebook and Instagram.

We pulled the Meta ads of 139 B2B advertisers, 4,047 distinct creatives in all, and scored every one. Meta shows how long each ad has run, so you can see which ones advertisers keep paying for. 1,063 ran for three months or more.

What 4,047 B2B Meta ads tell us

  1. 26%of the 4,047 distinct creatives ran for three months or more. Advertisers keep paying for ads that work, so a long run is the clearest public sign of a winner.

  2. 45%of creatives whose main hook is a report, guide or other content to download ran for three months or more, the most of any hook. Webinar and event ads ran that long least often, 5%, since the event ends.

  3. 33%of flexible creatives, where Meta mixes several images and lines for each viewer, ran for three months or more, against 23% of single images and 16% of videos.

  4. 4.3out of 10 was the average score for creatives that ran three months or more, about the same as the 4.4 for ones pulled within a month. How an ad looks explains little of why it keeps running, so the offer matters as much as the design.

  5. 4.9out of 10 was the average for single image ads, the highest of any format. Video scored lowest at 3.6, mostly because Jev judges a video by its cover.

  6. 93%of the top-rated creatives get their point across in two seconds, against 75% of all creatives. In a feed full of friends and family, clarity matters even more.

The 24 best ads and why they work

The highest-scoring creatives that use a repeatable pattern, no more than two from any brand. Each card shows the ad as it ran, how long it has run and the pattern it uses. Click an image to see the original in Meta's Ad Library.

When a card says Live for 7 months, the advertiser has kept that creative running for seven months. Advertisers stop paying for ads that don't work, so that's the best public sign an ad does.

Ad headline

Retire the word

Ad copy

Manual collections is not anyone's job title. It is the forty-seven follow-up emails, or whatever your number is, between you and closing the quarter. The follow-ups, the Coupa and Ariba logins, the "did you get our invoice" replies get done by an agent. Your team keeps the judgment calls and sets which replies go out untouched. Click for the 30-minute fit call. A straight answer on fit and a ballpark on price.

Why it works

A dictionary entry for the buyer's pain. It reads like a real page, so people stop to read it, and the usage example is a line any AR lead has said out loud.

What stands out

The joke lands only because every detail is right, from the pronunciation to the "Finance issues" tag.

Polar Analytics:

Ad headline

Catch it before it costs you.

Ad copy

In our test, reported remarketing ROAS was 3.6x. Measured with a holdout: 1.2x. Get the free playbook to run the same test.

Why it works

Two numbers do all the work. Ads Manager said 420 sales and a holdout test found 140, a gap every paid social buyer already suspects and wants proof of.

What stands out

Plain type on black with a free playbook as the offer. Nothing competes with the numbers.

Stay AI: The Shopify Subscription Platform Built for Growth

Ad copy

One-time subscriber. Superfan. 🦸 The distance between those two things is a retention strategy. Magic Spoon built theirs on Stay AI, and now retains 40% of subscribers past order 3. See how you can do it too.

Why it works

A named customer people recognise, shown as the product itself. The copy turns that into one specific result, 40% of subscribers kept past the third order.

What stands out

The cereal boxes make it feel like a consumer ad in a consumer feed, which suits a Shopify audience.

Ramp:

Ad headline

Job costing on autopilot.

Ad copy

Your crew bought $400 in materials on a personal card. You'll find out at month-end. Maybe. Terms and conditions apply. Cards issued by Sutton Bank and Celtic Bank, Member FDIC.

Why it works

Construction crews sitting on a giant corporate card. One photographed image says who it is for and what it is before anyone reads a word.

What stands out

The copy opens with a scene every site manager knows, $400 of materials on a personal card.

Ad headline

Personalisation at scale. For real.

Ad copy

Lorna Jane moved from campaign-led to customer-led marketing. Across 1M+ profiles and 100+ stores, every message responds to real behaviour.

Why it works

A big number tied to a named brand. 84x ROI across a million customer relationships is specific enough to believe and big enough to stop on.

What stands out

It looks like a fashion ad, which is exactly what Klaviyo's ecommerce buyers are used to seeing.

Bentley Systems:
Bentley SystemsSingle imageRan for 45 days

Ad headline

Solve Constructability

Ad copy

Align your supply chain with a single model.

Why it works

A named project and a dollar figure in the headline. $3.2M saved through virtual construction is proof an engineering buyer can take to a budget meeting.

What stands out

A real rendering of the bridge in place of an abstract diagram, and the brand sits clearly in the corner.

Lambda:
LambdaSingle imageLive for 39 days

Built for physical AI

Ad copy

Training GigaFusionNet required more than raw GPU power. Kodiak needed high GPU memory, high inter-node bandwidth, and the ability to stream hundreds of terabytes of sensor data without moving petabytes to a new cloud. Lambda's NVIDIA HGX H100 1-Click Clusters with InfiniBand networking and Lambda's S3 adapter handled every requirement. Kodiak was training in a week.

Why it works

A named customer in a demanding field. Kodiak's self-driving trucks are proof that Lambda handles the hardest AI workloads, without a single benchmark chart.

What stands out

The headline sits in a highlighted box, so it reads first even on a small screen.

Dreamdata:

Want to see even more LinkedIn Ads benchmarks data?

Ad copy

Something is quietly happening to B2B ad budgets. Non-branded search spend has dropped from 37% to 33% in a single year. At the same time, cost per click on those terms jumped 29%, and click-through rates fell 26%. You’re spending more money and getting less engagement. It's not hard to see why marketers are rethinking where they spend. LinkedIn, meanwhile, has grown its share to 41% of total B2B ad budgets, the single largest allocation of any channel. When you look at what that spend actually returns: → LinkedIn ROAS: 121% → Google Search: 67% → Meta: 51% As AI Overviews absorb more no

Why it works

A chart people want to screenshot. One clear finding, LinkedIn takes 41% of B2B ad budgets, with the data source named at the bottom.

What stands out

It looks like a page from a report, which makes the report itself feel worth downloading.

Webflow:

Ad copy

Most B2B websites are brochures that happen to have a form on them. Copy.ai rebuilt theirs into a demand-gen engine on Webflow, with the marketing team owning the page, the test, and the ship. See how they did it.

Why it works

A named customer with a pipeline number. $4M+ in enterprise pipeline is the result a marketing leader is measured on, so it lands with the right reader.

What stands out

Real product screens stacked under the headline show what the result came from.

Tesorio:
TesorioSingle imageLive for 52 days

Ad headline

Proof it reached their portal

Ad copy

You uploaded it to their portal on the fourth. Now you get to prove it. Invoices submitted into Coupa and Ariba, status tracked, remittance pulled back, without anyone on your team logging in to go and look.

Why it works

The buyer's excuse becomes the headline. "We never got the invoice" is the line every collections team hears, printed on a missing-person carton.

What stands out

A strong physical metaphor with the product's job written on the carton, invoice details included.

ActiveCampaign:
ActiveCampaignSingle imageLive for 29 days

Ad headline

AI that catches what you would've missed.

Ad copy

Active Intelligence: Wavelength checks every automation and catches broken flows before your contacts notice them, driving 75% higher engagement.

Why it works

A product alert with real numbers, an 18% drop in sends caught before anyone noticed. It shows the product doing its job in one glance.

What stands out

Two short lines up top, then the UI. The chart line climbs at the end, so the story resolves.

Algolia:
AlgoliaSingle image

Ad headline

Ad copy

Drive more revenue with richer customer experiences, automated merchandising, and AI that you control.

Why it works

A named retailer and a revenue figure, +$28M a year. It is the simplest version of the customer-proof ad and it works because the number is big and exact.

What stands out

Bright type over a dimmed store photo keeps the number readable at any size.

Spendesk:

Ad copy

Leave manual processes behind. Spendesk automates your workflows and brings every expense, invoice, and purchase together.

Why it works

A laptop full of approval emails in a museum case. The old way of chasing approvals becomes an exhibit, which makes the point without saying anything negative.

What stands out

The tiny plaque under the case rewards anyone who looks closer.

Atlassian:

Get time back from meetings with Jira

Ad copy

Growing teams like Udemy scale and unify their teams with Jira.

Why it works

One named customer and one number, 2,400 hours a year saved. It answers the question a buyer asks about any work tool, how much time will it give back.

What stands out

The hourglass in Udemy's colours ties the result to the customer visually.

Rewind:

Why it works

A text message from an auditor asking for three years of backups. It drops the reader into the moment they would need the product.

What stands out

A simple illustration and a real-looking message make it feel personal in a personal feed.

Buildots:

Why it works

What stands out

Lots of space and a single number, so the point lands in a second.

Atlassian:

Why it works

Why it works

A named controller at a named company with one number, nearly 400 hours a month saved. A quote from the person who does the work beats any claim the brand makes about itself.

What stands out

A calm desk scene with the quote set large. It looks like an Instagram post, so it fits the feed.

Why it works

The founder again, this time on camera in his own warehouse. Same-day supplier payments cutting three days off restocking is a result an operator feels.

What stands out

Shot where the business happens, which makes the claim feel lived in.

Polar Analytics:

Why it works

A revenue chart with the one bad hour flagged. It shows exactly what the product catches, a broken checkout on Black Friday, in the product's own UI.

What stands out

The headline, find Friday's dip on Friday, says the whole value in five words.

Airwallex:

Lose less sales to declined payments. Airwallex Optimize 360 uses AI-powered retries, routing and resolutions to win them back.

Why it works

What stands out

Real UI cards layered over a real photo, so the product and the customer share one frame.

Lambda:

Kodiak tried the hyperscalers. GPU nodes were geographically separated from their petabytes of sensor data. Inter-node throughput wasn't built for distributed training. They were still looking at months of wait time. With Lambda's NVIDIA HGX H100 1-Click Clusters, they were up and training in a week.

Why it works

A second Kodiak story, this time on training at scale. Two angles on one strong customer let Lambda talk to different buyers without new proof.

What stands out

Same template as their other ad, so the brand is recognisable across the series.

Rewind:
RewindSingle imageLive for 55 days

Ad copy

Without backup, recovery from a large AI-caused incident can take 27+ days, and the agent itself can't reconstruct what it changed. Rewind's daily backups across Jira, Confluence, and GitHub make AI mistakes reversible.

Why it works

An AI agent deleting hundreds of Jira files, written as a chat. It names a new fear in its own words, and the product is the obvious answer.

What stands out

The hand-drawn panic below the chat keeps it light while the risk stays real.

Algolia:

Ad headline

Better site search brings more revenue.

Ad copy

We’re far more than just a search box. We’re an intelligence engine to power business growth. See how Doc Morris used Algolia to increase search sessions and higher net sales.

Why it works

A named brand and a growth number, +146% net sales. Bold type on a lifestyle photo makes a search product feel like part of the customer's own marketing.

What stands out

The CTA button reads Read their story, which promises proof and not a pitch.

The patterns behind them

The same repeatable formats we found on LinkedIn, with examples from Meta. Each comes with a recipe for the image, headline, copy and CTA.

  • Make the point land in two seconds. On Facebook and Instagram your ad sits between photos of friends, so nobody reads a paragraph to find out what you sell.
  • Put the brand inside the image. The page name above the ad is small and easy to miss.
  • Every number in an ad needs a real source. Never invent a named person or a quote.
  • Copy the idea and change the layout. If a competitor already runs the format, yours has to look different.
  • Treat each pattern as a test. Run it against your current best ad for 2 to 3 weeks and judge it on the campaign’s own metric.
1

Product UI with real numbers

One crisp product screen or alert, cropped large, showing a believable moment with exact figures. Specific numbers read as measured fact, so the UI is the proof.

  • ImageCrop one real product view or alert big. Exact non-round figures, a timestamp, one red or green signal, logo inside the frame.
  • HeadlineName the moment the screen shows, in under eight words. Example 'Velocity looks fine. Profitability doesn't.'
  • CopyOne line on the situation the buyer is in, one line on what the product does about it, one proof number.
  • CTASee it on your data or See a live demo.
ActiveCampaign examplePolar Analytics example
2

Familiar artifact, rewritten

Recreate a document the buyer handles every week (invoice, renewal dialog, calendar invite, job post, inbox) and change one line so it makes the argument. Variant. Third-button invite or symptom checklist. Every line must be a task the controller or engineer really does.

  • ImageRebuild a real artifact faithfully in native fonts and layout. Change only the line that carries the point. Logo inside the artifact.
  • HeadlineA short line that names the trap in the artifact. Example 'Your renewal has two buttons. Neither is no.'
  • CopyTwo sentences. What the artifact costs them today, and how the product removes it. Add a source for any statistic.
  • CTASee how it works or Get the breakdown.
Tesorio example
3

Overheard message thread

A Slack, iMessage or AI chat screen where buyers voice the pain in their own words, so the reader recognises their own week.

  • ImageNative chat UI, 3-5 short messages, roles as names, timestamps. Brand named once inside the thread. No blurred vendor names.
  • HeadlineName the problem in the buyer's words from the thread. Example: 'I am assuming you have backups.'
  • CopyName the situation in one line, then the product and one proof point. Keep it as casual as the thread.
  • CTASee how teams fix this or Book a demo.
Rewind exampleRewind example
4

Named customer as hero

Let a known customer carry the ad. Their product, their exec or their numbers fill the frame, and your brand sits small.

  • ImageReal photo of the customer's product or exec, or 3 outcome lines with their logo. Your logo clearly visible beside theirs.
  • Headline'[Customer] builds with [you]' or the exec's own quote. Pick a customer the reader sees as a peer.
  • CopyWhat the customer faced, what changed, one number, a link to the full story.
  • CTARead the story.
Stay.ai exampleKlaviyo exampleBentley Systems example
5

Editorial data page

Original data laid out like a newspaper page, chart or reference table, so the ad is something worth saving and quoting.

  • ImageOne real chart or newspaper-style layout. Serif headline, at most three stats, small comparison bars. Cite the source and sample size.
  • HeadlineThe trend as a plain statement. Example '"AI" is entering job titles, and tech is driving it.'
  • CopyWhere the data comes from (sample size, period) and the one takeaway for the reader's job.
  • CTAGet the full data.
Dreamdata example
6

Typographic sting

Pure type with a setup and a jab, sometimes with a type trick (word search, italic word) doing the visual work.

  • ImageType only on a flat colour, or a simple type device (hidden word in a grid). One accent colour for the sting.
  • HeadlineSetup line, then a sting about what the best do. Example 'Your infrastructure has rules. Your AI has vibes.'
  • CopyExplain the stat in one line and say what the product changes. Keep it calm.
  • CTASee where you stand or Read the report.
Polar Analytics example
7

Physical metaphor, photographed

Build or shoot a real object that stands for the idea (museum case, seats, ledger, retro set), so the ad looks crafted rather than designed.

  • ImagePhotograph one real prop or staged set that makes the point. Film grain, natural light, no stock models smiling at camera.
  • HeadlineShort line or a plaque-style caption naming the old way. Example 'The Ceremony of the Infinite Sign-Off, 2003-2020.'
  • CopyOne line translating the metaphor into the buyer's problem, one on the product.
  • CTASee the new way.

What to leave out

  • 3D shapes, gradients or abstract art. Averaged 3.3 out of 10 across 429 creatives, against 4.3 for the library as a whole. It was one of the lowest-scoring visual styles we found.
  • A brand statement or vision line. Averaged 3.6 out of 10 across 275 creatives, against 4.3 for the library as a whole. It was one of the lowest-scoring hooks we found.
  • Creative with no brand in the frame. Averaged 3.4 out of 10, against 4.6 when the brand is visible. On Meta your ad sits between personal posts, so people need to see who it is from.

How we built it

Every ad comes from Meta's public Ad Library. We took the B2B brands in our LinkedIn library, found their Facebook pages and pulled up to 100 ads from each. Versions of the same creative count once.

Every distinct creative went to Jev, an AI model built to judge creative, with its image, headline and copy. Jev scored each one out of 10, up to 5 for how well it would land with a senior B2B buyer and up to 5 for craft, and tagged its hook, visual style and pattern. Videos are judged on their cover. The scores judge the creative, so treat them as a starting point and test against your own numbers.

Common questions

Does B2B advertising work on Facebook and Instagram?

The advertisers here keep paying for it. 1,063 of the 4,047 distinct B2B creatives in this library ran for three months or more, and advertisers don't keep ads running that don't pay back. Meta works best for B2B products a person can buy or try on their own, and for retargeting people who already know you.

How can you tell if a competitor's Meta ad is working?

Look at how long it has run. Meta's Ad Library shows when each ad started and whether it is still live. A creative that has been running for months is one the advertiser keeps paying for. Each card on this page shows that, for example “Live for 7 months”.

What makes a good B2B ad on Facebook or Instagram?

One clear idea a buyer gets in two seconds, with the brand in the frame. 93% of the top-rated creatives pass that two-second test. The patterns on this page are the repeatable versions, each with a recipe for the image, headline, copy and CTA.

What should B2B ads on Meta avoid?

3D shapes, gradients or abstract art; A brand statement or vision line; Creative with no brand in the frame.

How were these ads scored?

Every distinct creative went to Jev, an AI model built to judge creative, with its image, headline and copy. Jev scored each one out of 10, up to 5 for how well it would land with a senior B2B buyer and up to 5 for craft, and checked whether the point lands in two seconds, whether it uses a specific number and whether the brand is visible. The scores judge the creative, so test against your own numbers.

Where do these ads come from?

Meta's public Ad Library. We pulled up to 100 ads from each of 139 B2B advertisers, the same brands as our LinkedIn library. That is 10,454 ads, or 4,047 distinct creatives once versions of the same ad are counted once.
